appending my sql to cakephp sql log

Hi,

Me a 4 week newbie on cake. pre cake, i had a classlib build on php5.
Since cake has come, i have done new things on cake models but will
continue using my classic php5 clslib. My classlib uses a self made
function doquery (mysql_query wrapped around some silly debug support)
all across the clslib. I like cakephp's query dump so wondering how to
feed cake's sql log with some of my outsider queries. is there a way
to append my queries to that log?
(I dug and found out that DboSource probably does that itself and
maybe for his private use.)
