odd database problem

I have a Dev box with ubuntu, apache, php and mysql where I'm
developing an application with the last CakePhp version.

Everything works well.

Problem is when I upload it to my ISP server.

Every time a model is needed the app throws me the "Missing Database
Table".

The tables are there, the app does connect without error but all I get
is the "Missing Database Table".

Has anyone got this problem before?

P.S. Tried several times to delete and restore the database with no
success.
