info from database error?

In my controller I'm doing:

$ok = $test->deleteAll($conditions, false);
where $test is my model

this normally works just fine, but this was failing for some unknown
reason.

Now I want to be able to debug why this was failing.

Is there a way to get the last error?

I've only seen the problem in production
