Are you using Windows XP? I only get garbage characters on *any*
plugin that uses the copy to clipboard functionality, CakePHP Export,
Doctrine Export, Propel Export. All of these have the same problem. I
filed the bug

What did not work was the fact that WB 5.1 changed the plugin
locations to some user dir (ack!) and now offers an install menu
item...
