Element $html->link problem

Hello all.

I try to create an Html / Css based menu with CakePHP

What I'm doing to create the menu elements is that :

<?php e($html->link($html->tag('b','Home'),array
('controller'=>'controlls','action'=>'index'))); ?>

And what I get is that

<b>Home</b>

instead of

Home with bold

What can I do ? ? ?
