Hi,

you should add the fifth parameter to switch off escaping.
http://api.cakephp.org/class/html-helper#method-HtmlHelperlink

Something like this:
e($html->link($html->tag('b','Home'),array
('controller'=>'controlls','action'=>'index'), null, null, false));
