Prefix Routing from Form Submission

I'm having a problem with prefix routing from a form submission.

I have several prefixes setup for my site (not just admin), lets say
prefixa, prefixb, prefixc....

I'm method for this form is "get". When submitting the form the action
is "/prefixa/controller/view/". I even checked the HTML before the
form was submitted and this is what it was. Basiclly all I want it to
do is append the ID to the end when submitted and take you to that
page (/prefix/controller/view/5). This works perfectly when I'm not
using a prefix, but the prefix is causing the problem.

The problem is after the form is submitted, somehow the URL in my
browser somehow changes to (/controller/prefix_view/id). Somehow the
prefix is appended to the view and removed from before the controller.

I really need a fix for this and am open to ANY suggestions.

For reference, I'm using cake version "1.2.0.7962".
