Re: helper to do a sliding animation

Jcarousel is one of the earliest plugins, but I found it to be a bit
bloated sometimes. Try jcarousellite instead.
Other alternatives - cycle, cycle light, LoopedSlider, easy slider

has a good collection of sliders, roughly arranged by ease of
implementation and flexibility.
