how to paginate results using ajax

I'd like to know how to paginate results using ajax, e.g., to paginate
comments of a post, as on youtube.

class Comments extends AppController {
var $name = 'Comments';

}

class Comment extends AppModel {
var $name = 'Comment';

}

class Posts extends AppController {
var $name = 'Posts';

}

class Post extends AppModel {
var $name = 'Posts';
var $hasMany = 'Comments'
