Re: caching with pages and '/' route

Sounds like you need to start reading first about caching in the
CakePHP book at:
http://book.cakephp.org/view/1193/Caching

as there are several possibilities for caching your information. I
would not turn on caching, unless I understand what is being cached
and for how long :)
