yes it does show myurl/page:2

I am using 1.3.x

no special routing

and my pagination options are invoked in the head of the controller as follows (and works for all other instances might I add)...

    var $paginate = array('limit' => 10, 'order' => array('Post.timestamp' => 'desc'));
