MVC + js

I am new to programming in php and js and need help.

I wish to write a program which will read mouse coordinates(js
function), add them to database and show them in ui (kind of
dynamically updated field with current coordinates). User can also
choose how frequently coordinates are shown (aproximation) by clicking
button1 (each 100th row of our database table) or button2 (each 250th
row of our database table) <-- values are exemplary

But I have some problems with logic of this application, and how to
distribute it in cakephp.
Model =>database
controler -> mouse tracking, database update
view -> updating field with mouse coordinates, by using js script????

I am not sure how to plan it before start programming it. I have never
used MVC or cakePHP so i'm not quite familiar with this logic and have
problem with understanding it. Can anyone explain it to me and give
some advice to my project?
