Multiple CakePHP sites, one system

I have several CakePHP sites on a single system all with different
databases and directories trees, etc.

However, if I log into one, I get logged out of the others. Even on
the site where there is no authentication, when I switch pages on that
site, I get logged out of the site where I had to log in.

Does anyone know why that is? Is there an easy way to avoid it?
