Re: SQL Server, Linux and CakePHP 2

I am using PDO ODBC to connect from Linux to SQL Server and I tried modifying
the Sqlserver datasource in Cake to use odbc instead of sqlsrv. I am getting
an error though related to getcolumnmeta(). Is this function not supported
with PDO ODBC? Does anybody know of another Cake datasource available to use
to connect from Linux to SQL Server. I can manually connect using
MSSQL_connect, odbc_connect, or pdo_odbc but Im having trouble figuring out
the best way to connect within Cake.
