Re: Cake is NOT able to connect to the database. Database connection "Mysql" is missing, or could not be created.

I am getting this same error with a fresh install of mysql. My database settings are correct but for some reason, when i try and bake a model, CakePHP brings me back 

Database connection "Mysql" is missing, or could not be created.

I've connected the database using other methods but for some reason, cake is sending me this error. MY DB settings are as follows:

public $fixmycar = array(

'datasource' => 'Database/Mysql',

'persistent' => false,

'host' => 'localhost',

'login' => 'admin',

'password' => 'golden',

'database' => 'carfixdb',

);
