Meetups are an excellent way to chat with like minded people as well as become a part of your local community! They are an excellent opportunity to share the CakePHP love! Meetups are difficult to organize, but when a group comes together, the magic is undeniable - Do you have a local meet up that you attend or want to start up? Well we have some great news! We are there to support you - let us know about your meetup and we can see how we can help! Some tips to get your meet up started: Do some research, is there already a local group you can join? Not? That's ok! There are a lot of like-minded people, start your own and invite them! Have an idea in mind, from Hackathons through to speakers or even virtual guests and dinner, Set up, find a platform that you can invite others to join (Meetup.com perhaps?) Tell people about it! Post on social, email local companies. Get the word out there!
