Liquidweb + Cakephp + cPanel problem

Hey Guys,

I just started VPS hosting with liquidweb. One of the problems that I
seem to be having randomly is that I can browse to my app, which
defaults to the login screen ( if I am not logged into the app).
Everyonce in a while, when I submit my login form, I will get the
cPanel .htaccess username and password popup after I submit the form.
My app still logs me in but then I have to enter this .htaccess stuff
for cpanel which is obviously not what I want to do.

I narrowed it down to possibly being some cron job that was resetting
some system variable because the problem had gone away for a while and
then I re-ran a cron job and the problem came back.

Has anyone ever had a problem like this?

Thanks!
