Cake php ajax

Hello All,

I have an issue - I am developing my application in normal PHP and a
part should be developed from cakephp.

ie, When I click a button, It will popup a div and its contents are
shown from one of the ctp page from cakephp.

The call to display the function is in php and the contents are shown
from cakephp. From there
I am passing the control to cakephp. But this div' ajax functionality
(cake Ajax) is not working for me. Its working when I take the page
through URL directly, the problem arises when I try to show it through
the popup div.

Any idea what could be wrong??
