The shell class does not work as I want it to...

I've some problem with the Shell class, this is what happens.

The first one is a test, its not written i cake and returns the right
data.
The second one (line 15) is the cake code. It uses the exactly same
class as the first code, but does not return anything else.

What is wrong?
