Try this and give us some feedback. If this works, we can try doing a post:  in the view          $.ajax({                 type: "GET",                 url: 'categories/getIndications/' + selected, ...   In the controller  function getIndications($id) {      $this->log("getindicator called".$id); .... ...  Are you using jquery 1.3.2 ??
