Update query not working (Postgresql)

Hello,

  I had trouble when my perfectly working cake project(with mysql) was forced into postgresql, but later got that cleared, now i cant get the update query working. 
This is the error that i am getting - 
"Warning (2): pg_query() [function.pg-query]: Query failed: ERROR: column "Menuitem" of relation "menuitems" does not exist
LINE 1: UPDATE "menuitems" AS "Menuitem" SET "Menuitem"."name" = 'I...
^ [CORE\cake\libs\model\datasources\dbo\dbo_postgres.php, line 123]"

Some one please help me out........ My deadline's this week........... Please.........
