Re: authentication with 2 tables

use 1 table for users (all users) and create one field in table for who they are, e.g.: field_name can be group

and for 1 user you have "tutor" and second is "student"

Hi everyone,

I am a beginner with CakePhp. (2.0)

I have two kind of users : Tutors and Students.

So how can i handle the authentication with cakePHP method.

Can i use only one table ? => $this->Auth->userModel = ' ';

I am french, so please excuse for my english.
