I am trying to open pdf files located on my localhost under files folder using cakephp form select element
echo "<div id=vac>";
echo $this->Form->create('Vacancy',array('target'=>'_blank'));
echo $this->Form->input('New Vacancy', array('options' => $Vacancy,'empty' => 'Select','between'=>'<br/><br/>','onChange'=>'javascript:this.form.submit()','url' =>'/files/emply'));
echo "</div>";
The vacancy database has the following entries:
id name Location.
I wish to open the file stored at location for a particular entry.
Q1: How can I specify the value of location in select field?
Q2: How to access the pdf at that location?
In my controller I am passing
$this->set('Vacancy',$vacancy->find('list',array('fields' => array('id', 'name','location'))));
