sql to cakephp query conversion

Hi,

I need to convert it to cakephp sql approach rather than sql query.

This is very complex for cakephp basic query.

SELECT

SUM(payment - ( payment - gross_amount)) as 'Payment'

 FROM sales_orders s

WHERE DATE_FORMAT(`date`,'%Y-%m-%d') = CURDATE();
