You could set up the relationship between Post and User models.
For instance
//in Post.php
$belongsTo = 'User';
and make sure you have a field "user_id" in your posts table.
Then you can use this below in your Post controller.
$post = $this->Post->findById($id);
if($post['User']['id] == $user_id){
//.....
}
Something like above.
On PostsController
Action Editif( $this->Post->isOwnedBy( $POSTID, $USERID) ){//code}doesnot work!Error: SQLSTATE[42000]: Syntax error or access violation: 1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'isOwnedBy' at line 1Wath i need to do to know if the user, is the owner of the post?--
