If I remember correctly Form->input is wrapped in a div. You can try styling the div through the input options array such as 'div' => 'CssClass' or remove the div entirely if it helps the cause, 'div' => false. You can change from a div to something like span using 'wrap' => 'span'. Use before/between/after to further style the input 'before' => 'label', 'after' => ' ' There is a lot you can do through the input itself to change it's characteristics. or better prepare it to be styled. Make sure your styles are not being overwritten and some simple CSS should to the trick.
