Re: Access $this->Session from a model

Hi i have the same problem with the plugin https://github.com/robwilkerson/CakePHP-Audit-Log-Plugin, i put the method in my Model (AppModel) so it can be used in others models, my solution was:

function currentUser() 

{

//pr($this->Session->read('Auth.User'));

//pr($this->Auth->user());

//pr(AuthComponent::user());

//die();

$user=AuthComponent::user();

   return $user;

}
