Re: Extending core CakePlugin class in app directory

If you are using composer you can set a flag to download the source files which you than can edit without showing that you have to submit changes.

Hi guys.. I have a question in cakephp 2.6.4 - plugins.
I have a plan to add some features in cake plugin. So, that I need to write few lines of code in "CakePlugin" core class. I don't think changing codes in core files is a good idea.

So, is there any way to override that "CakePlugin" class from my app directory?
