exclude directory from routing

Hi,

On my cakephp testenvironment, I would like to exclude a specific
directory from any cakephp rerouting. That directory holds an
independent website.

However, when I try to access a page in that directory, cakephp tries
to load a controller that is called like the directory - which
obviously fails....

Is there a way to exclude a directory tree from cake php?
