zend.com gives away two free books on zend framework. one is "programmers reference" and another one is "zend framework certification study guide"
so all you have to do is create an account in www.zend.com (for free) - then open the following url
http://www.zend. com/en/community /downloads
and then select "zend framework" - click "try" beside it.
then from the options choose "programmers reference" and "zf certification study guide"
that's it
