I am a noob to OOP & Cake, so only got the basic uploader working (without linking it to my db, this it was very straightforward).
I think that Miles is a member of this group and he might help, if not, someone who is a real developer (like Sam or Euromark) are probably your best bet :)
Sorry I can't add more than that. I'd be interested in seeing the solution too.
