Session only starting on users controller after upgrade to 1.3

Hi All,

Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction here. I just upgraded from 1.2 to 1.3 and made all the necessary adjustments to my app according to the Migrating from CakePHP 1.2 to 1.3 document however when I login to my app I can't access any other controllers accept the users controller. I'm using Acl, Auth, Session and Security in my app controller only. I can access actions in the users controller after login but attempts to access any other controller just redirect me back to users/login with no error.
