find All for multiple database

Hi

I would like to know how to make a select and update on multiple database ?

i have db1.items and db2.logs

i wish to make a select for

items

-id

-name

-logs_id

logs

-id

-name

-content

-created

How to make Model/View/Controller

for select items.id, items.name, logs.content, logs.id, logs.created FROM ... INNER JOIN items ON items.logs_id = logs.id 

same thing for update ?
