i did a Composer update last night & my project exploded. Turns out a [recent commit] removed /src/Config/routes.php. Being new to programming within a framework, comprehending & dealing with routes is still a couple steps down the road for me.
So i managed to get my project working again:
1. In App/Config/routes.php i had to comment the line at the end reading
require CAKE . 'Config/routes.php';
2. After scanning the commit in the link above, found this line
Router::connect('/:controller/:action/*', [],
['defaultRoute' => true,
'routeClass' => 'Cake\Routing\Route\InflectedRoute']);
and added it after the line i commented.
Now, my site is working, for now, but i know there's a lot of stuff i left out from the original default routes file.
My question is, based on the changes that remove the default routes, what's the new Right Way to do this? Did i miss something obvious, or should i be looking for new documentation somewhere?
Thanks.
