I can confirm this error. It is even present in 2.5.4, but I check that this bug was introduced in 2.5.3 version.

I think the bug fixed was related with loginRedirect. 

If I remove the second parameter at the following line, it works.

But I think there is a reason for this parameter is true. And I don't want to touch the core files.
