The time is now, can you feel it??  View this email in your browser What has been keeping you busy? We'd love to hear what you have been up to the last few weeks! Perhaps you've started a new project, or have had difficulties with a feature (join our support channels quick!) or maybe you've started writing a CakePHP Blog (Hey hey! Send us the link!). The team has also been keeping themselves busy, including #CakeFest2018 preparation, releases, V3.6 feature planning, Phinx support and organizing local meet ups! (More on these at the bottom of the mail!) CakePHP has reached a new milestone recently! 2 million downloads via composer, Check out the stats! CakeDC has had their hand in committing to open source. The past few weeks, they have been super busy - from sharing some great posts about building an RBAC based application in CakePHP to releasing some new open source plugins. Check them out! CakePHP forum plugin and the CakePHP email toolkit. And lastly, with #hacktoberfest nearing the end, have you submitted your contributions to open source? Check out these great ones specific to CakePHP!
