300th Release, CakeFest 2018 and more exciting news!
Let's give a massive round of applause to the team for their commitment in getting 300 releases out! Mark Story announced the exciting milestone over on Twitter, 3.5.12 marked a new stepping stone in CakePHP - which as you know, is still very much around and doing well. We'd love to hear your stories, so if you've been working with CakePHP for years or have done some exciting development using the framework then mail me!
In other news.. CakeFest 2018 has been officially announced and tickets are on sale today!! We hope to see you all in Nashville, and if you thought last year was exciting then DO NOT MISS THIS YEAR! We've also negotiated preferential rates at the hotel, so be sure to check out that if you are looking for a hotel room for the duration of the conference!
The Swag store is gaining strength and we are seeing orders fly out - if you haven't gotten your CakePHP swag yet, then do so quickly! We are also looking at getting new designs, including limited editions - if you have any ideas that you'd love to see come to life, then you know what to do!
And last but not least, the team at CakeDC have been putting many hours towards open source plugins and articles - have you seen them? More below!
