MIS/IT Specialist
The MIS/IT Specialist will be responsible for the overall design and implementation of three project components: a) strengthening the Personnel Management information System at the Directorate of Nursing Services and public nursing institutes; b) strengthening the computer training component of the nursing diploma. The specialist will work with the project team.
Academic qualifications
A Master's in Computer Sciences or Software Engineering with a specialisation in systems
Experience
- A minimum of 5 years experience in the design and implementation of complex health information systems in public institutions in a networked environment, full points for 10 years experience representing 20 points. - Experience identifying training requirements for supporting implementation of complex health information systems - Experience designing and delivering IT training programs - Experience in client service provision and ongoing maintenance - Experience in capacity development and change management as it relates to introducing and adopting new technology in a public sector institution
