Question about Sessions.

Hi there, I'm writting because I'm having some trouble sharing
sessions between two applications.
The both applications are in the same server but in diferent
directories. I've followed the diferent guides that I found on the
internet but in my local machine it work's but not in my server. I
thought that could be a server configuration but the two
configurations are almost the same.
Can you give me some tips about sharing the session between the two
apps? Both uses the same database for users.
