Issue with Excel Helper

Hi Experts,

I am using this tutorial to set up an excel export helper

http://bakery.cakephp.org/articles/melgior/2010/01/26/simple-excel-spreadsheet-helper
I have followed each and every step. additionally I am using following helpers in my code

 public $helpers = array('Form', 'Html', 'Excel', 'Time');

Still I am getting this error

 Undefined variable: excel [APP\View\Engineers\index.ctp, line 40]


Please suggest
