Re: CacheEngine and garbage collection

In the book is written the following: "...used to do clean up when resources expire. FileEngine uses this to delete files containing expired content." ( http://book.cakephp.org/2.0/en/core-libraries/caching.html#CacheEngine::gc )

If the content is not expired, the file stay in the cache

Ive set up a cache config as follow:

Cache::config('file', array(

'engine' => 'File',

'prefix' => false,

'duration' => '+10 minutes',

'path' => CACHE . 'files' . DS,

));

After writing to this cache config I call

Cache::gc('file');

But this does...nothing :( The files stay in the cache.

Am I missing someting or why does this not work?
