The Job:

We are on the lookout for someone who loves CakePHP and challenges themselves to always build something awesome. You will dive right into the current code base (branch off BitBucket), take charge of the maintenance, and add new features to our platforms. You will be part of a creative team that is responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software developments from scalability to gamification. If you have the super powers of Java, Jquery and experience with web services SOAP and REST is fab. You will be part of a team that is strong and works as a unit, while still having individual projects from time to time. Affinity to things like milestones, deadlines and a clean inbox are benefits, though spotless inbox is not required. Basically, if you are great at what you do with CakePHP and want to be part of a winning team, a conversation is in order. The Specifics

  • Interested and engaged in project and features
  • 5+ years of software development experience in PHP
  • 3+ years in CakePHP working on backend programming
  • Proven experience in working large scale projects
  • Strong knowledge in MVC frameworks
  • Demonstrable knowledge of core web technologies including HTTP, HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, AJAX,JSON, SQL, Basic Linux
  • Experience with Web services SOAP and REST
  • Understanding of Amazon Web Services.
  • Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook,Twitter, etc)
  • Knowledge of affiliate programs API (CJ, LS, Ebay Enterprise) is a plus.
