Re: Which parts of the framework can be used outside the framework?

Not directly an answer to your problem but I would appreciate if we could make more parts of the framework completely self-contained if possible.

Other frameworks, especially Symfony, does a very good job in doing so and on top of that they use their libs as a marketing tool. To me it looks like almost every of their libs or packages has it's own website.
