Yes, possible on Windows. You need the "Printer" PECL extension - http://bd.php.net/printer

Remember, PHP is server side. You can print only on the machine PHP is installed. Your users can't print directly via php. Prompt them to print via JS in such cases. You probably understand this already, still a reminder :)
