Re: Is this a mod_rewrite issue?

Unfortunately the quick tests in the link you provided require access to the server root (even if your site is in a subfolder), but I only have access to my subdirectory (and anything within that). I'll chase the web hosts now.

However the quick test will be useful once they set AllowOverride to 'All' (assuming that is the problem) as it will help eliminate any issues with my Cake setup so thanks again.
