The Session, joomla and cake.

Hello, i'm trying to use cake, to make a little application to insert
and search data. I need also the i18n capabilities of cake.
I'm trying to use this little application with Joomla 1.5 and the
joomla wrapper to see this application.
i have the httdocs that contain the joomla file, and inside this a
folder named cake, with all the file of cake inside.
My problem is this, I cannot in anyway to get the session working, i
cannot save inside session neither read something. I disabled the
database session use by joomla, but this doesn't resolve my problem. I
get the all the site to my local development server, thinking it was
aproblem of server configuration, nothing to do ... some one can help
me to figure out how can I solve this ?
