Re: Poll: what do you hate about CakePHP?

I didn't resurrect the thread, but, while I do agree with you that the documentation is far better than it was in 2009, I find that a lot of advanced features and usage aren't documented. The book is fantastic as a general introduction to Cake and its most common features, but I find myself looking in the core code quite a bit to figure out certain things. But, this isn't necessarily a bad thing - I think that you really should be familiar with the source code if you're going to use Cake. And I also know that it's not possible to have extensive documentation on every single little feature.
