Ajax Pagination - Highlight Sort and Direction

Hi all,

I'm using Cakephp v1.25 and I'm trying to find a way to highlight the
sort column and direction when using ajax pagination.

On a second note, is it possible to collect sort columns and
directions so a user can combine them?
